União Química is recognized as a Green Company by the city of São Paulo

Sao Paulo, May 10, 2022 – Na manhã desta terça-feira (10), a União Química foi reconhecida pela cidade de São Paulo como Empresa Verde. O certificado foi entregue pelo Municipal Secretary of Green and Environment of São Paulo, Eduardo de Castro, to Silvana Santana, Institutional Marketing Director of the pharmaceutical company, at a ceremony in Parque do Carmo, in the capital of São Paulo.

Na ocasião, a executiva juntamente com o secretário fez o plantio de um Ipê como ato simbólico da nova chancela da empresa e ainda, como homenagem às vítimas da Covid-19. 

A certificação é a recognition from the city government of the Raízes da União program, which will plant 1 million trees throughout Brazil over the next five years. Of this total, around 100 thousand native seedlings will be planted in Serra da Cantareira, in São Paulo.
