Injectable solution 30 mg/ml: pack with 10 ampoules of 1 ml

Indicações

CETROLAC is indicated for the short-term control of acute pain of moderate to severe intensity that requires a potency equivalent to that of an opioid (e.g. morphine), such as post-operative pain, renal colic, low back pain, biliary colic, among others. CETROLAC is not indicated for chronic (long-term) pain.

Contraindication

You should not use CETROLAC if you are allergic to ketorolac tromethamine or any substance contained in the ampoule. Tell your doctor about any medicines you are using, before or during treatment.
If you are allergic to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or to acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin) or other prostaglandin synthesis inhibitors (ibuprofen and piroxicam), you should not use CETROLAC.
CETROLAC is contraindicated during labor and delivery.
You should not apply CETROLAC if you have suspected or confirmed cerebrovascular bleeding or are undergoing incomplete hemostasis (when the bleeding cannot be stopped) or in cases where you are at risk of bleeding.
CETROLAC is contraindicated for the prevention of pain in major surgeries and during surgeries, because of the increased risk of bleeding.
If you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, peptic ulcer or recurrent digestive hemorrhage (two or more distinct and proven episodes of ulceration or bleeding), you should not use CETROLAC, as well as other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
If you have severe heart failure, you cannot take CETROLAC or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
If you have moderate or severe kidney failure or are at risk of kidney failure due to reduced blood volume (total volume of circulating blood) or dehydration, you cannot use
CETROLAC because of the risk of renal toxicity.
CETROLAC should not be used for neuraxial (epidural or spinal) administration, i.e., in the “spine”, because of its alcoholic component.
You should not take CETROLAC if you are using aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Combinations between ketorolac tromethamine and oxypenphylline and between ketorolac tromethamine and probenecid are contraindicated.
